Specialised Timber Fabrication is a company at the forefront of timber fabrication, using the latest in engineered wood and panel products to manufacture timber for highly specialised designs. Over a decade of distinctive projects showcase our capabilities using sawn timber, Glulam, CLT, LVL and plywood to produce innovative and striking structural timber systems including but not limited to Masslam, box sections, panelised, modular, freeform, post-and-beam and trusses.
In collaboration with TGA Engineers, Specialised Timber Fabrication provides an integrated engineering service to complement our fabricated timber components, including foundations, steel, concrete and masonry. This ability to combine the knowledge of engineering and practicality of fabrication ensures that the design intent flows through all aspects of the structure and that projects of all sizes and complexities are designed effectively and efficiently.
Our in-house detailing and CNC processing allows for consistent, precise fabrication with millimetre accuracy and intricate detailing. CNC fabrication allows for 5-axis milling which can produce 3D shapes for solid timber sections as well as assembled systems like roof and floor cassettes, box beams and trusses. These pre-fabricated pieces are transported to site for quick assembly, reducing construction time, labour and cost, as well as the impact of construction on the surrounding community.
